Youth soccer dominates Rotary Park. Dryden Youth Soccer has 450 registered players along with 84 coaches.  Soccer players from school programs and senior leagues push that number to 890.

Gary Nickle is the ultimate sports dad with two young daughters involved with Dryden Youth Soccer. Active in our community, Gary is the driving force behind the ongoing dream to build people friendly Rotary Park.

Gary NickleGary is working to provide a 2,500 square foot multi-use building for the site to serve as protection from the elements and provide change room facilities, a snack bar, office space and centralized washrooms.  These facilities would enable the soccer club to host regional tournaments and generate concession revenues.

A turnkey fully serviced facility would cost about $433,000 with Dryden Youth Soccer able to provide $90,000. The club is seeking additional support from the Ontario Trillium Foundation as well as Rotary Park’s development partners.

In addition to the youth and senior soccer clubs, Rotary Park’s development partners include Rotary, the City of Dryden, Neighbourhood Legacy and the Dryden Tennis Club.
