Izzy Harvey and Meghan Lovett were Dryden High School students visiting to tell us us bit about their time at Adventures in Agriculture, a program sponsored by the Club and District 5550.

The event was held in Regina between Nov 25th - 29th and coincided with the Canadian Western Agribition. Eighteen students from District 5550 attend the AIA program.

Both Izzy and Meaghan shared with us the speeches that they gave in Regina.

Izzy’s talk was centered on the importance of food and knowing what one is eating, especially ensuring that meat does not contain antibiotics or hormones.

Meghan dealt with food in a small community and how most fresh fruit and produce is imported.  She then made us aware of the Cloverbelt Coop and encouraged us to eat local food as much as possible.

Both girls immensely enjoyed their visit and thanked Rotary for the opportunity to attend.
