How to use Rotary International’s new website, the process we will use to renew the Club’s “strategic plan” and a variety of presentations have been the focus of meetings so far in 2015.

Strategic Plan Renewal

Dryden Rotary’s three year strategic plan expires on June 30, 2015. Rotarian Natasha has volunteered to lead the club through the process of creating a new plan for the 2015-2018 period.

Although the Rotary Year is July 1 to June 30 annually, our Club Strategic Plan is January 1 to December 31st annually so it overlaps between two club presidents. This creates consistency and cooperation and assists the executive with budgeting and priority setting.

The Clubs Vision and Mission mirrors RI’s but is customized to the realities of District 5550 and North Western Ontario.

R. I.’s New “My Rotary” Website Feature

On January 21st, President Brian Braid did a presentation on the new www.rotary.org website. In particular he showed how to login as a member to the Rotary Club Central or My Rotary portion of the website.

He also described some of the Rotary resources, such as R I Newsletters members can register to receive via email a on topics that may be of interest to them.

President Braid concluded the presentation by showing members how to use the club’s ClubRunner website to send an email to all or just some club members.
