Katrina attended Adventures in Agriculture in Regina in November 2010
This program, held during the internationally acclaimed Canadian Western Agribition, provides students who attend an opportunity to visit Agribition, tour major agriculture based industries, and participate in networking and information sessions conducted by agriculture industry professionals and business leaders.
designed to help broaden knowledge and understanding of the multi-faceted agricultural sector, environmental issues, and the challenge of providing food for the world.
Cockle's first adventure was somewhat unexpected as she boarded a plane in Winnipeg for Regina and it ended up landing in Saskatoon. However, after a few phone calls , she and two other students on the same flight were on their way to Regina but missed the opening day activities.
The three days that followed had all students attending many different sites as well as the University of Regina and a Rotary luncheon.
