DHS students Gouliquer and Carr report on the 2016 Adventures in Agriculture Program

Jakeob Gouliquer and Devon Carr, the 2016 Adventures in Agriculture students from DHS reported on their involvement in Adventures in Agriculture Program, November 23 - 27, 2016 in Regina.
Their PowerPoint provided pictures of equipment - the first being a John Deere tractor that costs about $850,000.


Other parts of their PowerPoint focused on their visit to the Agribition auction and cattle show, an Investor’s Group talk about financial planning and farm financing, and visits to a Case Equipment dealer, the University of Saskatchewan in Regina to view research in genetically modifying agricultural products and Ralph McKay, a dealer in agricultural equipment.
The pair also gave a presentation on how some people erroneously think dairy and beef farmers abuse animals.
