Sponsored by the late Bill Beatty, Denis joined the Rotary Club of Dryden in1995 and remained an active member until his passing on April 3rd, 2019.
In addition to Rotary, Denis served as treasurer of the Dryden Regional Health Centre Foundation, vice chair of the Patricia Region Senior Services Board of Directors, and past member of the Board of Directors of the City of Dryden Airport Commission.Denis is survived by his two daughters, Nicole & Yvette and son Marc along with several grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Jeanette in 2008.
Denis loved being in real estate and worked in the business for almost 45 years after leaving the radio business. He loved his community and each year sponsored the trophy and player medals for the Dryden Ladies Soccer League.
His compassion and way with people made him a natural for the fellowship role in our Club, visiting
and keeping contact with fellow Rotarians struck by illness.
