At our April 7 meeting Rotarians John Borst and Susan Reany Iskra provided an overview of our new and improved website; a project they have been working on for a while. The goal of the revamp was to make the site more appealing and accessible to all.
The Home Page

Some of the main features of the home page include:
  • Small menu “buttons” at the top of the page will bring the viewer to various pages on the site, including over 600 archived stories and information on all aspects of our club and Rotary International
  • A large banner that flips to our club’s four areas of focus
  • A feature story of the week
  • Headings for the four most recent stories
  • A banner with the most recent RI feature stories that change on a rotating basis
  • Links on the left side to our programs, the Dryden Rotary Charitable Foundation and our sponsors
  • Numerous other links to information about upcoming speakers and events or to enquire about joining.
The presentation also included instructions for using the members-only side of the site. An explanation of the Dashboard included how to edit your personal information, send emails through Clubrunner, and view or download club documents.
A Custom Page

The entire website features plenty of photographs, is very appealing to the eye and easy to navigate. Members in attendance were very impressed and expressed their appreciation for John’s and Susan’s efforts and expertise.

Rotarians are encouraged to submit any photographs they may have of club events to Susan or John for possible use on the website.
